Helena Revuelta is a visual artist based in Málaga, originally from Madrid. Her work emerges from an inner pulse that moves between the tangible and the imagined. Through oil painting, drawing and mixed media, she creates atmospheric landscapes and suspended spaces where silence, memory and emotion slowly unfold.

Educated in Fine Arts and Graphic Design at the Escuela de Arte La Palma and the Escuela de Artes Gráficas in Madrid, her practice has evolved through years of exploration, studio research and international artistic experience. Since 2000 she has devoted her life to painting, shaping a visual language that is both delicate and enigmatic.

Her canvases invite the viewer into a parallel territory —a place where forms dissolve, colors breathe, and time seems to stretch. Helena’s work does not seek to explain; it suggests. It offers a refuge, a pause, a space where the invisible becomes perceptible and the familiar transforms into something quietly profound.

Her painting is ultimately a gesture of introspection: a way of giving shape to the intangible and allowing the viewer to wander through their own inner landscape.is a visual artist born in Madrid and currently resides and works in Casares, Malaga. She received her formal education in plastic arts and graphic design from the School of Art La Palma and the School of Graphic Arts in Madrid. Parallel to her formal education, she honed her artistic skills in various professional workshops with renowned masters of painting. After working in graphic design for some years, she went on to expand her artistic training by attending different workshops at the Royal College of Art in London. Helena Revuelta has exhibited her work nationally in Madrid, Malaga, La Rioja, Marbella, Soria, San Sebastián, Cáceres, Badajoz, and internationally in Miami, Seoul, New York, Luxembourg, Italy, Paris, Germany, United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

ABOUT ME

My artwork reflects my journey of self-discovery- an adventure of the soul. The inspiration for my creations always stems from within, giving my imagination the freedom to conjure up landscapes that only exist in my mind. It's like navigating an endless river without a clear destination in sight. Since 2000, I have been deeply committed to painting as a means of expression and reflection, devoting a significant part of my life to this passion.

My art offers a glimpse into an alternate world where my creations come to life, inviting viewers to explore, dream, and contemplate. How my work is interpreted depends entirely on the observer's mood and perception.
